"Thank you to all the staff at Stonecrest for the beautiful job you did on our kitchen remodel. It turned out fantastic! It was a pleasure working with Charlie the architect and Rick the builder who provided us with a schedule that was right on to the very last day. The demolition and installation crew was very professional and considerate and went above and beyond expectations. Each day's goals were accomplished with coordinated efforts.
We are so glad we took our time in planning with Charlie and our cabinet maker. The coordination between the two worked out so well. One unique feature was a shallow wall inset with a built-in cabinet above which the kitchen TV hangs. This provided good walking space around the center island which we love.
All of our family and friends are in awe when they visit and comment on how rich and inviting the space is. Kitchens tend to be gathering places when people come over and ours in no exception. The space turned out to be very functional and we have loads of storage.
And thanks Rick for answering all of the numerous questions we sent via text messaging. I know you were constantly busy and we appreciate the attention you gave to each and every question we had.

After a great deal of research followed by meetings with a number of Stonecrest's residential customers in our local area, we decided to move forward with a design/build renovation to our home. We are so glad that we took the time to do our due diligence and sit down with local families who used Stonecrest for similar projects, because Stonecrest was simply exceptional in every phase of the project.
From the disign consultations with Charlie, to the build phase with Rick, to the follow-up after the project ended, the team at Stoncrest went to great lengths to put our needs first.
One of our goals for the project was to "blend in" the new addiction with our existing home and Stonecrest accomplished this beautifully (both with the exterior and interior). We have received many comments ranging from "it looks like a brand new house!" to "you can't even see where the addition was added!"

Rod and I wanted to take a minute to thank you and your crew for our beautiful bedroom and bath. Once again -- your design, workmanship and schedule-keeping have turned our rudimentary ideas into a wonderful realization!!
We had high expectations based on the great job you did for us two years ago when you took space from our oversized living room and gave us the workspace we were so short of in the kitchen plus a beautiful family-sized dining room.
When we told people at the outset of each project that we had a spread sheet indicating when each craftsperson would arrive and when the job would be complete-- they quietly snickered at or naivete'. But in boh instances you met the scheduled completion date and left us with everything cleaned up and ready for our finishing touches.
One final kudo is for the work ethic demonstrated by each man on your crew. They worked very hard all day and never left before tidying up the area and hauling out any trash that was lying around.
If at any time you'd like to show off your work -- we'd love to show our new rooms to anyone who is interested. We are very proud of the improvements you've made to our home!

From the beginning we were very happy in choosing Stonecrest for our remodeling job. The design and architectural elements were very professional. It was great that our ideas and feedback were incorporated into the plans, along with much dedication and thought put in by the architect.
Getting a work schedule in the beginning was a big help, and demo, framing, construction, etc. all were done in a timely manner, keeping the schedule right on track. The crew at Stonecrest is very professional, and we couldn’t be happier at the results. Being a professional chef, I am very detail oriented, and our new kitchen is a work of art.

We hired Stonecrest to finish our basement, and we are extremely pleased with the outcome. We have a large basement in a custom built home with many upgrades on the main and second floor, so it was important to hire a firm that can build the basement to match the calibre of the main floors. After meeting with several firms in our rigorous search process, we selected Stonecrest. Stonecrest exceeded our expectations at every phase of the project. First there were the meetings with Charles, who is the architect. He presented us with his initial design, which we liked the best amongst the many firms we interviewed. We met with Charles several times to refine the design, before we awarded them the contract. During each design refinement meetings, Charles patiently listened to our ideas and offered ideas that improved upon our original idea. The second phase was the selection process when we picked out items such as flooring and plumbing fixtures. Stonecrest suggested their vendors with whom they have professional relationships. Stonecrest passed on all contractor rates savings to us. After the selection process, we met Rick who would plan and supervise the construction. Rick made a very efficient plan that left no room for wasted idle time. The plan laid out upfront precise schedule of different phases of construction such as framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and flooring. Construction moved to its finality just as Rick planned it. The construction crew worked fast without sacrificing quality. Along the way during construction phase Rick recognized a few opportunities for improvement over the original plan and discussed their benefits. Only upon our acceptance he would move forward with suggestions. It's not as if he was just looking for opportunities to add to the construction cost. Only one of the several suggestions he had made was actually an enhancement at adding to the final cost, but it was well worth the cost. We found only two items that required correction during construction, which they promptly corrected. We were impressed by Rick's professionalism and responsiveness. He was always reachable on the phone. If we had to leave a message, he responded within a few hours. No question went unanswered for more than a few hours. Now that the project is finished, we are confident that we made the correct choice in choosing Stonecrest.

Just wanted to drop a quick note to say THANK YOU for the pleasant experience we had with Stonecrest Builders!
The process of taking an undeveloped home site all the way from deforestation and custom design to the beautiful second home in Michigan we now enjoy was full of challenges. However, you helped us through every step way.
Charlie came up with a unique and interesting architectural concept to fit into the build space we had available. The space is more functional and useable than we had even imagined. Rick dealt with every construction challenge with professionalism and aplomb, and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. And Robin kept things flowing from the office- keeping us up to date on progress, coordinating selections and choices and making sure the paperwork flowed smoothly.
The measure of a business isn’t always how they perform at their best- when everything runs smooth. In the midst of an ‘interesting’ economic market and a number of other challenges, Stonecrest really showed value by offering creative and thoughtful solutions to the unavoidable problems that we faced.
